Job Title: Domestic Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Housekeeper to join our team at Barry Glotman. As a Domestic Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our clients' homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Housekeeping: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Laundry: Make beds, change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets.
  • Kitchen and Bathroom Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Trash and Recycling: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed.
  • Shopping: Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Window Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Changing Rooms and Showers: Clean changing rooms and showers.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking, outdoors.
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home, private residence, employer's home.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Tools and Equipment: Uniform.
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, honesty.
