Job Summary

The Breakfast Buffet Server role at Century Group is a dynamic opportunity for a customer-focused individual to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide guests through the menu, answer questions, and make recommendations to ensure a satisfying dining experience.
  • Explain menu items, describing ingredients and cooking methods to enhance the guest experience.
  • Ensure guests are aware of current promotions and offers.
  • Assist with reservations, take orders, and serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
  • Collect payments and handle guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform cleaning duties, including maintaining a clean and organized server station.
  • Participate in team events and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

  • Previous serving experience is preferred, but not necessary.
  • Must be Serving it Right and Food Safe Level 1 certified or be willing to become certified.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Well-groomed appearance, friendly demeanor, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on exceeding guest expectations.
