We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our kitchen team at Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing food items according to resort F&B specifications, following kitchen systems and principles, and promoting a safe and sanitized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare food items according to resort F&B specifications
- Follow kitchen's systems & principles
- Promote a safe, sanitized work environment, ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, safety and food storage management
- Ensure the highest level of service and guest experience
- Provide non-stop teamwork with your teammates and managers
- Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
- Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
- Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs
Requirements:
- Previous cook and food preparation experience an asset
- Cook training certification or equivalent an asset
- Food safe certification an asset, may be obtained upon hire
- A willingness to learn new skills and have a positive attitude
