Central 1 Credit Union is a leading financial institution that empowers credit unions and other financial institutions to deliver banking choice to Canadians. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping our financial strategy and driving growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute Central 1's funding strategy, ensuring effective liquidity and funding management.
  • Manage a substantial funding portfolio exceeding $10 billion in Canadian and US Dollar deposits, commercial paper, and medium-term notes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Treasury Director to ensure seamless execution of daily funding and liquidity management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the dealer community in Toronto and Vancouver.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate or Master's degree in Finance and/or Business Administration.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is preferred.
  • 10+ years of financial markets or financial institution treasury management experience.
  • Excellent understanding of money markets, repo trading, funding structures, debt issuance, and collateral management.
  • Experience and knowledge of industry best practices as it relates to cost of fund and capital allocation models.
