Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ECE Assistant to join our team at Bee Yourself Childcare INC. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
  • Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations
  • Establish guidelines for behaviour
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
Requirements
  • Child development assistant (ECE level 1)
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR
  • Criminal record check
