About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Jellybean Park Playcare Inc. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and contributing to the development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Support educators in maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Guide and assist children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare healthy snacks and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for children.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral issues and communicate with educators and parents.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1-6 months of experience in a childcare setting or related field.
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification.
  • First Aid Certificate.
