Job Title: ECE Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Kids Canvas Childcare Inc.

Job Summary

The ECE Assistant will provide support to our early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing engaging activities for children
  • Engage children in activities that promote learning and development
  • Support children in developing good habits and routines
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and challenges
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience in childcare or education is an asset
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
What We Offer
