ECE Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Ltd. in a permanent position.
Job Summary:The ECE Assistant will work under the supervision of early childhood educators to support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
- Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
- Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers, and assist in keeping records.
- Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
- Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
English is the primary language of communication in this role.
Work Hours:40 hours per week.
