Job Summary

The Clinical Practice Leader will provide leadership and expertise to support quality excellence in violence prevention, planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating programs related to this critical area. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, executing, and monitoring the HRH Violence Prevention Strategy
  • Modeling excellence in clinical practice and professional development
  • Promoting interdisciplinary teams related to workplace violence management
  • Providing support to teams regarding aggressive behavior management
  • Reviewing data, determining trends, and developing strategies for violence reduction
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An undergraduate degree in Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or Respiratory Therapy
  • A Master's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or equivalent
  • Current BCLS and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months
  • Minimum 5 years of recent experience in healthcare
  • Previous experience in adult education and clinical practice leadership
  • Experience in adult education principles, learning needs assessment, educational program design, delivery, and evaluation
  • Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills
  • Highly developed knowledge of team facilitation, change management, and continuous quality improvement
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
