We are seeking an experienced Accounting Associate to join our team at Fortune Construction LTD.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position that offers 32-40 hours of work per week with a competitive salary. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.
Job DescriptionThe Accounting Associate will be responsible for:
- Calculating and preparing cheques for payroll in a timely manner.
- Maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, ensuring up-to-date records.
- Posting journal entries and preparing other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
- Preparing trial balance of books and maintaining accurate records.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be highly organized, and able to manage their time effectively under tight deadlines.
Key RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A College/CEGEP education.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
