Position Overview

The Insurance Quality Assurance Specialist will lead the build and execution of QA programs, perform quality and technical evaluations, and create and lead QA alignment and calibration meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement QA programs to ensure quality and consistency in insurance claims processing
  • Conduct quality and technical evaluations of insurance professionals to identify areas for improvement
  • Create and lead QA alignment and calibration meetings to ensure consistency in QA processes
  • Design and produce QA results and reports to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvements and process enhancements

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in accident benefits and bodily injury claims, or a combination of experience in QA and insurance
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree, or equivalent combination of education and business industry experience
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office product suite, data analysis, and trending
  • Experience in analyzing key quality performance metrics and implementing quality procedures and processes
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma statistical analysis tools
