Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck and Trailer Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Skywalk Truck & Trailer Repair. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting our mechanics with daily tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our truck and trailer systems.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist mechanics with routine maintenance and repairs
* Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed
* Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public
* Clean machines and immediate work areas
* Perform routine maintenance tasks
* Notify supervisor or mechanic of equipment malfunctions
* Assist with adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of truck-trailer systems

Requirements:

* Physically demanding work environment
* Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
* Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
* Dependability, flexibility, and reliability
* Willingness to learn and train
