Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining relationships with constituents, community groups, and businesses.

Responsibilities:

* Engage with constituents to understand their priorities and concerns
* Manage the Member's constituency agenda, including planning and coordinating meetings, conferences, and events
* Brief the Member on key communications with constituents
* Draft correspondence to ministers and stakeholders
* Manage and review the Member's emails and communications

Working Conditions:

* Travel may be required
* Occasional long hours and some weekends

Requirements:

* Post-secondary education from a recognized institution or an acceptable combination of education, training, and relevant experience
* Experience working in an office setting with a high volume of requests and conflicting priorities
* Experience working with community partners, external stakeholders, or businesses
* Superior written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
* Knowledge of the Canadian parliamentary system and federal political issues
