About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Haveli Indian Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading our culinary operations and ensuring that our dishes are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Leadership: Provide culinary direction and leadership to our kitchen team, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Menu Planning: Plan and develop menus that showcase the flavors and ingredients of Indian cuisine, while also considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure that all ingredients and supplies are ordered and stocked in a timely manner.
  • Staff Training: Train and develop our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards.
  • Food Safety: Ensure that all food safety protocols are followed, and that our kitchen is a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in culinary arts or a related field is an asset.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control.
