Job Summary:

The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating dishwashers, cleaning and sanitizing kitchen areas, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, and storage areas
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
  • Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
  • Package take-out food and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars
  • Take customers' orders and operate a cash register
  • Receive payments from customers and handle and store cleaning products
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash and receive, unpack, and store supplies
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for extended periods
  • Positive attitude and reliability
  • Team player with ability to work under pressure
Work Environment:

The Food Counter Attendant will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a team of experienced staff. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
