Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Safe Management Group Inc.

Job Summary:

The Healthcare Support Worker will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in need. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and a passion for working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to healthcare staff
  • Deliver meals and snacks to patients, and assist with feeding as needed
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, including changing bed linens and cleaning equipment
  • Transport patients to and from appointments and activities
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Document patient care and progress in accordance with company policies
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Immunization records and vulnerable sector check
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
