Service Advisor

About the Role:As a Service Advisor, you'll be responsible for handling customer inquiries, writing repair orders, and ensuring that all paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently. You'll work closely with our service team to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service and experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Write repair orders and ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently
- Work closely with the service team to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service and experience
- Monitor work-in-progress to ensure that repairs are being performed properly and on time
- Notify customers of any delays or additional work required
- Use service files to suggest additional repairs or services as needed
- Estimate costs and completion times, and communicate with customers accordingly
- Identify and address repeat repairs, and assign original technicians to all comeback jobs
- Notify customers when backorder parts become available
- Resolve customer complaints in a fair and timely manner

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A valid British Columbia driver's license with a clean driving record
- Working knowledge of automotive equipment and techniques
- Ability to maintain records and prepare reports using a computerized equipment maintenance system
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the organization
