About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading company in Calgary as a Human Resources Coordinator. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing recruitment processes, facilitating employee relations, administering employee benefits, conducting onboarding programs, maintaining HR records, and providing guidance on performance management and development initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and candidate selection
  2. Facilitate employee relations, addressing concerns and promoting a positive workplace culture
  3. Administer employee benefits and support payroll inquiries
  4. Conduct onboarding and orientation programs for new hires
  5. Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
  6. Provide guidance on performance management and development initiatives

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, along with minimum 3 years of experience in HR, with expertise in employee relations, recruitment, and benefits administration. You should also possess strong understanding of employment legislation and labor relations, excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, proficiency in MS Office and HRIS software, and experience in a unionized environment is preferred.
