- The Centre for Trades at Lethbridge Polytechnic is seeking a highly motivated, organized individual with excellent communication skills to instruct in our Baking Apprenticeship Program, part of the School of Culinary Arts.

The successful applicant will be responsible for daily instruction and evaluation of students along with ongoing curriculum development.

This program follows curriculum set out by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training course outlines which can be researched at **Tradesecrets - Home (alberta.ca)**

**Position Details**
- Will be responsible for:
- Instruction and curriculum upkeep of Apprenticeship Baking
- Instruction will be in a high flex block delivery with students online for 4 weeks then in lab 4 weeks
- Other duties include daily production of retail products, banquet execution, daily ordering, inventory, lab organization and upkeep
- Expectations of proper food handling sanitation and safety are at a high level

**Required Qualifications**
- Journeyman Red Seal in Baking
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial production bakery, either food service or retail

- Commensurate with education and experience according to the Faculty Collective Agreement.**Working Here**
