Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Goldleaf Construction Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and clean environment for our employees and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Hire and Train Staff
The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for hiring and training a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Supervise and Coordinate ActivitiesThe supervisor will oversee the daily activities of the cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Inspect Sites and FacilitiesThe supervisor will conduct regular inspections of our facilities to ensure that they meet our safety and cleanliness standards.
Prepare Budgets and Cost EstimatesThe supervisor will be responsible for preparing budgets and cost estimates for cleaning and maintenance projects.
Recommend Additional ServicesThe supervisor will identify areas where additional services may be required, such as painting or repair work, and recommend these to management.
Maintain Financial RecordsThe supervisor will maintain accurate financial records of cleaning and maintenance expenses.
Assist CleanersThe supervisor will assist cleaners in performing their duties as needed.
Coordinate Work ActivitiesThe supervisor will coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities- Repetitive Tasks
The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will be required to perform repetitive tasks, such as inspecting facilities and preparing budgets.
Physically DemandingThe supervisor will be required to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, such as lifting and bending.
Combination of Sitting, Standing, WalkingThe supervisor will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.
Work Term: Permanent
Work Language: English
