Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Pure Kitchen Kanata. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and leading a team of cooks and kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Preparation and Service: Supervise and coordinate the preparation and portioning of food, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Staff Management: Train and develop the skills of our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are able to perform their duties to the highest standard.
- Inventory and Supply Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate records of stock levels and ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet our menu requirements.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our quality control standards, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules, ensuring that our kitchen staff are able to work efficiently and effectively to meet our service demands.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment, requiring a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team. You will be required to stand for long periods, walk, and use your hands to prepare and cook food.
