Fund Oversight Specialist Senior

Fidelity Investments is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fund Oversight Specialist Senior to join our team. As a key member of the Fund Treasurer's Office, you will be responsible for providing fiduciary oversight of our investment funds, ensuring the best interests of our investors are upheld.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all operational aspects of our investment funds, including fund accounting, pricing, and custody.
- Assist in the production of regulatory continuous disclosure reports and tax filings.
- Oversee transfer agency functions and ensure timely and accurate communication with stakeholders.
- Provide operational expertise on fund launches, including fund accounting and transfer agency roles.
- Ensure efficient and effective security pricing operations, with a focus on risk management.
- Collaborate with the Fidelity Tax team to oversee the distribution process and related tax filings.
- Review and act as a key contact for monthly, quarterly, and annual fund distribution processes.
- Provide coverage for Treasury Managers and assist with regulatory filing deadlines and continuous disclosure documents.
- Assist with the review of year-end distributions and related tax filings.
- University degree in Finance or Accounting, with a strong focus on the Canadian and global investment industry.
- 3-5 years of experience in the financial industry, with a strong understanding of fund accounting, pricing, custody, and operational aspects of investment funds.
- Accounting designation (CPA) or equivalent is an asset.
- In possession of, or working toward, a CFA designation is an asset.
- A highly driven professional with a keen eye for detail.
- A proactive and collaborative team player who excels at communicating complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- An exceptional communicator who can present information to senior leaders and boards/committees both orally and through written presentations.
- A motivated individual who is committed to excellence and process efficiency.
