As a Real Estate Finance Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced team to develop underwriting assumptions, asset-level financing metrics, and portfolio-level financing analysis. You'll assist in financing strategy development and execution, creating marketing materials to source debt capital, and drafting financing approval items and memos.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with the REF team, Investment teams, Asset Management, and Development teams to develop underwriting assumptions and asset-level financing metrics;
  • Assisting REF Portfolio managers in financing strategy development and execution;
  • Creating marketing materials to source debt capital;
  • Drafting financing approval items and memos;
  • Assisting in review of financing documents by key internal partners;
  • Assisting with financing strategies and executions in North America and other regions as needed.

Requirements

  • University degree in finance, business, commerce, or accounting;
  • CPA or CFA designation preferred or in progress;
  • 1-3 years of experience in a large organization working with commercial real estate borrowing or lending;
  • Superior Excel and financial modeling skills;
  • Takes initiative, is detail-oriented, accountable, and well-organized;
  • Highly developed strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills;
  • Solid two-way communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Strong relationship management skills.
