Server Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a Server Assistant to join our team at La Plume. As a Server Assistant, you will support our Servers by ensuring that all tables are set up with the proper mise en place, cleanliness, and completeness.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Servers with food running and ensure that plates arrive to the correct guests.
- Monitor the cleanliness of the section and ensure that all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter.
- Communicate with Servers and Hosts to maximize seating and provide excellent customer service.
- Practice a high level of floor awareness and clear/clean as required.
- Ensure that condiments are pre-portioned and the fridges are stocked with milk, cream, and butter.
- Monitor food quality and presentation standards, adhering to O&B's high standards.
- Follow all food safety standards and systems.
- Empty garbage, change linen bags, and dispose of garbage and recycling as needed.
Requirements
- A degree or diploma in Hospitality or a related field is considered an asset.
- Smart Serve Certification is a requirement.
- High attention to detail, ability to remain calm under pressure, and strong organizational skills are essential.
- Strong oral communication skills and the ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum are required.
