Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Server Assistant to join our team. As a Server Assistant, you will provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Your responsibilities will include answering questions about food and beverages, assisting with food running, and maintaining a clean and organized section.

Responsibilities

  • Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant functions
  • Assist with food running and ensure plates arrive to the proper guest
  • Monitor the cleanliness of the section and ensure all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter
  • Communicate with Servers and Hosts to maximize seating
  • Practice a high level of floor awareness and clear/clean as required
  • Ensure condiments are pre-portioned and fridges are stocked with essentials
  • Monitor food quality and presentation standards
  • Follow all food safety standards and systems
  • Empty garbage, change linen bags, and dispose of garbage and recycling
  • Communicate guest comments to Servers to ensure a positive experience

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a similar position for at least 6 months
  • Smart Serve Certification required
  • High attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Organizational skills and ability to take direction and prioritize
  • Strong oral communication skills and high level of product knowledge
  • Full availability for AM, PM, and weekend/holiday shifts
