Martial Arts Instructor

We are seeking a skilled Martial Arts Instructor to lead our recreational programs at the Magnitude Well-Being Centre Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging martial arts activities for individuals and groups.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Plan and implement martial arts programs that cater to diverse age groups and skill levels.
- Instruction and Demonstration: Deliver high-quality instruction and demonstrations of martial arts techniques, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Group Management: Lead and manage groups of 5-10 individuals, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
- Equipment and Supplies: Assemble and maintain martial arts equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good condition and meet safety standards.
- Reporting and Administration: Prepare reports and maintain accurate records of program participation and attendance.
- Certification: Possession of a martial arts instructor certification.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Transportation: Valid driver's license and access to public transportation.
- Personal Qualities: Excellent client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and supportive environment at the Magnitude Well-Being Centre Inc. The centre offers free parking and a range of benefits, including a permanent work term and 30 hours of work per week.
