About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Martial Arts Instructor to join our team at Magnitude Well-Being Centre Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction: Demonstrate and instruct various martial arts techniques and activities to individuals and groups.
  • Program Planning: Plan and deliver recreational, fitness, and sports programs for our members.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare reports and maintain accurate records of program participation and member engagement.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that equipment is properly maintained and stored.
  • Supervision: Supervise and lead groups of up to 10 people, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Hold a valid martial arts instructor certification and a valid driver's license.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess excellent client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player qualities.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Availability to work 30 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
