Business Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Support Specialist to join our team in Québec City and Montréal. As a key member of our support staff, you will collaborate with assistants and attorneys across various departments, contributing to the management of diverse cases.
What We Offer:
• Salary: between $55,000 and $70,000 (based on experience)
• Location: Québec City and Montréal (two positions available)

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Supporting the assistants and attorneys of different firm departments
• Reviewing, formatting, and modifying various legal documents (correspondence, contracts, procedures, etc.)
• Transcribing dictations
• Preparing electronic procedure binders, exhibits, authorities, as well as closing binders
• Performing administrative tasks to support the team
• Carrying out various other administrative tasks as needed
To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need:
• A diploma in secretarial studies, legal secretarial studies, or an equivalent training
• 5+ years of experience in legal secretarial work, particularly in litigation
• Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written (ability to support English-speaking attorneys and handle documents in English)
• Excellent grammar skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word (layout, styles, etc.)
• Good knowledge of PowerPoint and basic Excel skills (an asset)
• A focus on internal and external client service
• Strong adaptability and quick execution
• Independence, teamwork spirit, and initiative
