About the Role

CWB is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Banking Relationship Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with medium-sized commercial enterprises, providing full-service banking and financial solutions, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Focused: Deliver outstanding client experiences at every interaction and execute on plans to continuously build the client experience, in line with CWB's brand promise.
  • Portfolio Management: Drive growth while cultivating a diverse mix of client accounts.
  • Sales Activation: Undertake the gamut in sales activities including annual loan, deposit, cash management, revenue, and new client objectives.
  • Networking: Connect and establish networks with a variety of partners and clients to develop lasting relationships for you and the bank.
  • Risk Management: Utilize your risk assessment skills to ensure appropriate measures are put into place and risk assessment protocols and structures are implemented, while balancing risk and reward within CWB's risk appetite.
  • Mentorship: Develop a strong leadership foundation by coaching and mentoring junior employees.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in commerce, finance, or accounting fields.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience within commercial lending or related experience.
  • Financially savvy with strong commercial lending experience.
  • A strategic planner with an innate eye for details and strategy.
  • An encouraging teammate with a collaborative mindset.
  • Think big and beyond with a knack for strategy and solutions.
