We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the University Hospital of Northern BC. As a critical care nursing professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and nursing practice activities
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with healthcare team members
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Recognize and intervene appropriately in emergency situations
- Operate related equipment and maintain a safe and competent patient care environment
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
- Post-graduate courses (within the last five years) appropriate to service assignment or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
- Ability to promote safe, competent, patient care
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all members of the healthcare team
