About the Territory Sales Manager Role

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow sales of existing Univar customers. This role requires strong business acumen and the ability to build effective customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute plans to grow sales of existing customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to understand their needs and identify new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Purchasing department to ensure availability of product.
  • Collaborate with sales team members to share best practices and drive account growth.
  • Document all account activity in the CRM system (Salesforce.com).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of sales experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle time and resources efficiently in order to achieve goals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and consultative selling skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Adaptable and demonstrates strong work ethic with the initiative to work independently.
  • Strong business acumen, including an understanding of the business relationship between manufacturers, distributors, and end-users.
