Our client, a dynamic organization, is seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist to lead core HR functions with a strong focus on labor relations and union engagement. Reporting directly to senior management/HR Manager, this role is essential in strengthening HR operations, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and engagement.

The Senior HR Generalist will play a key role in collective bargaining and fostering a collaborative, compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving as a resource for HR best practices, coaching managers, and supporting employee engagement across all levels.
  • Developing and implementing HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Cultivating strong partnerships with site leaders and team members to promote a positive workplace, drive engagement, and resolve conflicts.
  • Driving recruitment efforts, working closely with hiring managers, and ensuring smooth onboarding for new team members.
  • Overseeing HR policies, ensuring compliance with employment laws and alignment with organizational values.
  • Continuously improving HR initiatives in areas such as talent development, employee engagement, and professional growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or HRCI).
  • Experience: 3-5 years in HR, with a minimum of 2 years in labor relations and union engagement.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment law, collective bargaining experience, and a well-rounded background in HR operations and compliance.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with HR software.

Compensation and Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $105,000 per annum, comprehensive health and dental plans, wellness coverage, and a flexible Monday-Friday work schedule but onsite/in office.
