Financial Manager, Burlington Green Party

Join our team as a Financial Manager, where you will be responsible for managing the bank accounts for the Constituency Association (CA) and Riding Association (RA), purchasing and making payment for items required and purchased, managing fundraising accounts, preparing budgets, preparing and filing financial reports as prescribed by the governments of Ontario and Canada for political parties, and reporting financial status at monthly executive meetings.
The Financial Manager will work in a supportive committee milieu, with the exiting CFO providing training and guidance. The role requires financial or accounting experience or education, but it's not necessary. You will have the opportunity to learn valuable financial skills in the world of politics, and also get involved with fundraising, volunteer coordination, and event planning.
