Payroll and Benefits Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Payroll and Benefits Administrator to join our team at UniUni Logistics. This role will be responsible for administering payroll and benefits for Canadian entities.
Salary Range:The estimated salary range for this position is CAD $50,000 - CAD $70,000 per year, depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
Main Responsibilities:- Payroll Administration: Process semi-monthly payroll for salaried and hourly employees, ensuring accurate calculation of hours and deductions based on legislation.
- Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including group insurance, vacation time, sick days, and banked OT.
- Record Keeping: Maintain employee documents, cross-check employee agreements, and ensure compliance with regulations regarding Payroll and Benefits.
- Reporting: Conduct monthly payroll & benefits allocation reports and quarterly WCB reports for the Finance department.
- A minimum of 3 years of full-cycle Canadian payroll and benefits administration experience, preferably with multi-province experience.
- Working knowledge of payroll practice and CRA legislation.
- Strong proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
- An Associate's degree (2-year program) or equivalent; further education in finance or human resources is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
