We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to join our team at Fitness World in Richmond, BC.

Job Summary:

This role will be responsible for processing semi-monthly payroll for 700+ employees across 16 locations in British Columbia. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of BC Labour Standards and experience with full-cycle payroll processing.

Responsibilities:

  • Process regular pay, benefit payments, and special payments such as bonuses and vacation pay on a semi-monthly basis within tight deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with Employment standards, including ROE, Vacation pay, final pay cheques, etc.
  • Maintain time-off records for club management staff and assist with Human Resources administrative duties such as onboarding, offboarding, benefits.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience with Full-cycle Payroll processing.
  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certificate from the Canadian Payroll Association or working towards certification (preferred).
  • Clear and up-to-date understanding of BC Labour Standards.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.

Estimated Salary:$65,000 - $80,000 per annum based on location and experience.
