We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Administrator to join our team at Iron Horse Rentals Ltd.

About the Role

This permanent full-time opportunity offers a competitive salary of approximately $55,000 per year, based on 40 hours of work per week.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts. Additionally, they will be required to post journal entries, maintain general ledgers, and prepare financial reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Reconcile accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports as required, including income statements and balance sheets.

We require the ideal candidate to have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least two years of experience in a related field. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for this role.
