Retail Store Supervisor Job Description

As a Retail Store Supervisor at Asadi Enterprises Inc, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are adequately trained to perform their tasks.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash transactions.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, including cashiers, retail salespersons, and sales clerks.
  • Manage cash and maintain accurate records of sales and transactions.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and maintain accurate records.
