Job Title: Early Childhood Supervisor

Jolly Ranchers Daycare Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Supervisor will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This role will also involve supervising staff, training, and volunteers, as well as synthesizing the overall situation of the children and communicating with parents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that meet the needs of children and families
  • Supervise and train staff, including early childhood educators and assistants
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being and progress of children
  • Lead activities and programs that promote learning and development
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers
  • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • 1-2 years of experience in early childhood education or a related field
  • Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Reliability and punctuality
Work Environment:

The Early Childhood Supervisor will work in a daycare center or nursery school setting, with a team of early childhood educators and assistants. The work environment is fast-paced and requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.
