Job Title: Early Childhood Supervisor

Jolly Ranchers Daycare Inc. is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our childcare programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the overall development of children
  • Supervise and train staff, trainees, or volunteers to ensure high-quality care and education
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress and any concerns
  • Lead activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and outings
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Collaborate with colleagues and community service providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to childcare
  • Plan and organize activities for school-age children before and after regular school hours
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • 1-2 years of experience in early childhood education or a related field
  • Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Reliability and punctuality
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a day care centre or nursery school setting, with a team of 3-4 people.
