Job Title: Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Coordinator to join our team at WoodGreen. As a Program Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our programs and services, working closely with our clients, staff, and community partners to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement program activities and meet qualitative and quantitative outcomes as outlined in the annual work plan.
  • Work with the Community Connections team to determine mentorship needs, encourage mentorship opportunities, and coordinate mentor retention strategies.
  • Ensure service delivery to newcomer clients, including in-person and e-services, and meet program goals, statistics, and outcomes.
  • Assist with outreach to the business community, professional associations, and other places to attract potential mentors.
  • Receive and review mentee applications, conduct in-depth interviews, and determine current situation, goals, and potential benefits from mentoring.
  • Collaborate with diverse employers to organize career sessions, providing newcomers with sector-specific opportunities and networking platforms.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews with mentors to determine key strengths and potential benefits to mentees.
  • Develop and implement a process for matching mentees with mentors, including protocols and policies, leading to successful mentorship relationships.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Work, Adult Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum two years' experience and a proven track record in supporting newcomers to achieve goals in counselling, employment, or related environments.
  • Experience in career coaching is a fundamental aspect of the role.
