Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $50,000 and $70,000, depending on experience. AIM offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary, vacation time, benefits, and a RRSP matching program.

Job Responsibilities

The Trade AP Technician plays a crucial role in processing freight invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling vendor accounts. Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • E nsuring payment terms are met with valued vendors.
  • Validating and posting freight & rail invoices using the 3-way matching process.
  • Verifying and investigating discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
  • Contributing to process improvements where applicable.
  • Communicating and collaborating effectively with customers and co-workers; resolving issues as they arise.
  • Maintaining complete and up-to-date records in our documentation and filing systems.

  • College or University diploma in Administration, Finance, or a related field.
