Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing robust governance frameworks to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
  • Conducting thorough security risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and providing recommendations for remediation.
  • Maintaining and updating security processes and procedures to ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Investigating and mitigating threats, conducting penetration testing, and developing incident response plans.
  • Supporting internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records and reports.
  • Demonstrated expertise in governance, risk, and compliance, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in information security, preferably in a similar role or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing effective security strategies.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with virtualization technologies, network security, and cloud services.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Operating Systems, and XDR Security Stack.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Working Conditions:

This is a 14-month contract position, requiring full-time commitment. The successful candidate will be based at our client's office in Regina, SK, and will be responsible for maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
