**Job Summary**:
Acerta’s mission is to understand the digital thread of data for every vehicle. Our customers are global automakers and suppliers who make complex parts that power all kinds of vehicles. We're currently focused on helping manufacturers make better parts more efficiently using machine learning and artificial intelligence (ML/AI). We've built a predictive quality solution called LinePulse to help them make better day-to-day decisions. LinePulse arms line engineers with actionable insights to proactively address quality issues before they impact production.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with SOC2 requirements.
- Coordinate and participate in SOC2 audits, including preparing documentation, responding to auditor inquiries, and implementing remediation efforts as needed.
- Coordinate customer security assessments, prepare required documentation and support communication with relevant parties during the process.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify security gaps and weaknesses by leveraging Vanta.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement and manage security controls, including access controls, encryption, and monitoring systems.
- Monitor security events and incidents, investigate potential threats, and implement appropriate response and mitigation measures.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on security best practices, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in information security and SOC2 compliance.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security, with specific expertise in SOC2 compliance.
- Strong understanding of SOC 2 framework, controls, and requirements, especially as applied to Cloud software and SaaS services.
- Experience conducting risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and security audits.
- Proficiency with security technologies and tools, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CRISC are preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot security issues, establish processes, and recommend effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
