Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team at Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel By Wyndham. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Management: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records.
- Staff Supervision: Conduct performance reviews and provide guidance and support to staff members to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that supplies are adequate and that waste is minimized.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
The Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
