SalaryThe estimated salary for this role is $200,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionAs a Veterinary Neurologist at VCA Canada, you will have the opportunity to deliver exceptional care to patients and their owners while working collaboratively with a talented team of specialists. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting diagnostic evaluations and developing treatment plans for patients with neurological disorders
- Performing a diverse range of procedures, including imaging, myringotomy, CSF taps, epidural injections, and other related procedures
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members in their professional development
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent
- Board certification or residency training in veterinary neurology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to ongoing education and professional development
