Activity Leader - Float, Before & After School Program

We're seeking a part-time Activity Leader to join our Before and After School Program team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for facilitating fun and engaging activities for children aged 5-12.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work effectively within a staff team to provide an inclusive environment of support, strategies, and resources for children with diverse needs.
  • Provide individual support to children within the program setting when required.
  • Help build and contribute to a community environment of global supports and inclusion for all children.
  • Help children navigate conflict and role model positive behaviors.
  • Contribute to the development, integration, and maintenance of care plans within the program.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 19 years of age.
  • Experience working with children aged 5-12.
  • Emergency First Aid and CRC – C & AED certification.
  • 20 hours of training in Child Development, Child Guidance, and/or Nutrition an asset.
