BURNCO Rock Products Ltd. is a leading provider of aggregate products and solutions in Western Canada. As part of our commitment to safety excellence, we are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead our health and safety programs and operations at our BC site locations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in health and safety with a minimum of 12-15 years of experience. A university degree or technical diploma in a related field would be an asset. The successful applicant will also have designations as a National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) and Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA) auditor or the ability to acquire within 1 year.

This role requires strong leadership skills with a cooperative and helpful attitude towards colleagues. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, are essential for success in this position. The ability to conduct business in an ethical manner and build relationships based on collaboration, honesty, and respect is crucial.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing health and safety programs, supervising health and safety operations, conducting periodic health and safety inspection audits, and participating in accident and incident investigations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for researching and developing training courses and materials for BURNCO's operations staff and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced safety professional looking to take their career to the next level. The salary range for this position is CAD $90,000-$105,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
