Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at L.A. Food Services LTD. As a key member of our culinary operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and service of food in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation
  • Hire and manage food service staff
  • Ensure food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates
  • Address customer complaints and concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management
  • Basic security clearance
  • Ability to work in a noisy, odorous, and wet/damp environment
  • Flexibility to work in a variety of settings, including restaurants and catering firms
Work Environment

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a physically demanding work setting. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
