IT Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Audit Manager to join our team in Toronto. As an IT Audit Manager, you will play a critical role in assessing and challenging risk management practices, internal controls, and corporate governance processes across Technology & Operations and Lines of Businesses in RBC.
Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the execution of assurance engagements in the annual plan and formally document audit evidence, in accordance with Internal Audit guidelines. You will also assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management practices, and governance processes to draw conclusions and complete audit programs.
Additionally, you will respond to stakeholder needs quickly and efficiently, build trusting relationships with Internal Audit peers, and contribute to the design, implementation, and execution of strategic initiatives. These initiatives will focus on enhancing continuous assurance and risk monitoring programs through the use of data analytics and automation of technology and cybersecurity control testing.

- Contribute to the design, implementation, and execution of strategic initiatives
To be successful in this role, you must have 3-6 years of technology audit experience (execution) in a non-leadership role or 3-6 years of technology experience in a financial institution or technology company. You should also have strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office – Intermediate/Advanced level, and be able to prioritize competing responsibilities and multitask efficiently without sacrificing work quality.
Furthermore, you should have experience in analyzing information, using professional judgment to draw correct conclusions, and resolving differences of opinion as demonstrated through the use of challenge. An undergraduate degree in business, computer science, or a related area is required.
Preferred Qualifications- Knowledge of the Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT) and NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF)
- Ability to learn and evaluate risk management of new and emerging technologies and processes
- Leadership experience, coaching, team captain, and/or mentorship in personal or work environment
- Working towards or interested in pursuing the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation
