Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Orgen Nutraceuticals Inc. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of prescription information, maintaining inventory of medications, and supporting pharmacists in their daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Prescription Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of prescription information to ensure patient safety and compliance.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory of medications and pharmaceutical products.
- Support to Pharmacists: Assist pharmacists in their daily tasks, including entering client information into databases and maintaining prescription records.
- Compound and Package: Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products as required.
- Office Administration: Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and booking appointments.
This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to multitask. You will work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
Requirements- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
